Job Purpose:

To ensure the efficient operation, pre- maintenance, regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all generator and inverter systems at head office and branches. The Maintenance Officer will be responsible for minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous power supply through preventive and corrective maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preform Pre -maintenance and servicing of generator and invertors.

• Perform regular inspection, maintenance, and servicing of generators and inverters.

• Diagnose faults and carry out timely repairs on all generator and inverter units.

• Ensure fuel and lubricant levels are maintained and manage routine oil/filter changes.

• Monitor and maintain batteries and backup systems for inverters.

• Keep detailed records of maintenance schedules, repairs, fuel consumption, and system performance.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company maintenance standards.

• Work with the procurement team to source and manage spare parts and tools inventory.

• Provide technical support during installations and system upgrades.

• Prepare technical specification for generator and inventor in coordination with facility and procurement team and ensured the procured items with specification.

• Respond promptly to power outages and restore functionality comply with minimal delay.

• Train junior technicians & branch staffs (if applicable) and oversee subcontractors when needed.

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.

• Proven experience 3 years for Diploma & 1 year for Degree in maintaining and repairing generators and inverter systems.

• Strong knowledge of diesel/petrol generator mechanics, inverter technologies, and battery systems.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and electrical diagrams.

• Skilled in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, and maintenance software (if applicable).

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Excellent time management and ability to work independently or in a team.

• Physical fitness and ability to work in outdoor/remote environments.
