Job Summary:

Wagwago Electric PLC is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in the metal manufacturing industry. This role involves leading mechanical design projects and ensuring the efficiency and reliability of manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components for metal manufacturing equipment.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes.

• Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimates, and risk assessments for mechanical projects.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in manufacturing systems.

• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.

• Prepare technical documentation, including specifications and reports.

• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in metal manufacturing.

• Proficiency in CAD software and mechanical design tools.

• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Experience with simulation software and finite element analysis (FEA).

• Familiarity with metal fabrication and machining processes.

  Technical Skills: 

•   Proficient in CAD and mechanical design software.
   
•  Knowledge of mechanical codes and safety regulations.
   
•    Experience with FEA and simulation tools.
