General Responsibility

• Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations

• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, tax regulations, and accounting standards (e.g. IFRS/GAAP).

• Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations prepared by junior accountants.

• Manage monthly close process and ensure deadlines are met.

• Lead the preparation and submission of tax filings (VAT, Withholding Tax, income tax, Pension etc.).

• Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce financial reports and forecasts

• Recommend and implement financial and operational improvements and automation.

• Prepare reports on finance performance, financial KPIs, and treasury summaries.

• Coordinate with departments such as Project Finance, FP&A, service business unit and Delivery business unit to ensure proper financial oversight and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior role.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.

• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• High attention to detail, accuracy, and communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
