Job Mission:

Create technical drawings for our building projects using a computer-aided design program, like AutoCAD. These drawings are an essential tool for our project team, so they must be very detailed, complete with building schedules, foundation plans, and materials. You will also collaborate with the engineers and architects of the project, adjusting the plan based on their notes or recommendations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings.
• Performing calculations for materials and weight limitations.
• ·Communicating with architects and engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.
• Preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside the engineering team.
• Ensuring final designs are compliant with building regulations.
• Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team.
• Analyzing building specifications, codes, and sites.
• Creating technical drawings from architects' sketches and specifications.
• Using CAD software to create drawings that incorporate exact measurements, calculations, building codes, and other construction details.
• Printing CAD drawing schematics for use by architects, construction managers, and structural and maintenance engineers.
• Entering CAD data into building information modeling (BIM) systems to create 3-D models and renderings.
• Preparing drawings, charts, and records with CAD equipment and conventional drafting techniques.
• Visiting construction sites to perform measurements and calculate dimensions as needed.
• Collaborating with architects and construction engineers to ensure adherence to building specifications and industry regulations.
• Keeping abreast of the latest developments and technologies in architectural design.
• Perform other related tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.

• Minimum of a diploma in drafting technical or engineering with Minimum of 4 years of experience
