Role Summary:

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing Niyat Consultancy's digital marketing strategy to enhance brand visibility, generate leads, and drive business growth in Ethiopia. This role requires a data-driven individual with a strong understanding of digital marketing channels, analytics, and best practices. The Digital Marketing Manager will lead the digital marketing team and collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent brand messaging and achieve marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with Niyat's overall business goals. This includes defining target audiences, selecting appropriate channels, setting KPIs, and managing budgets.
  • Website Management: Oversee the maintenance and optimization of Niyat's website, ensuring user-friendliness, SEO effectiveness, and lead generation capabilities. Collaborate with web developers and content creators to improve website performance.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic to the website. Conduct keyword research, optimize content, and build backlinks.
  • Search Engine Marketing (SEM): Manage paid advertising campaigns on search engines (e.g., Google Ads) to increase brand visibility and generate qualified leads. Conduct A/B testing and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
  • Social Media Marketing: Develop and execute social media strategies across relevant platforms (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) to engage target audiences, build brand awareness, and drive traffic to the website. Create and curate engaging content, manage social media communities, and run social media advertising campaigns.
  • Content Marketing: Develop and implement a content marketing strategy to create and distribute valuable content (blog posts, articles, case studies, white papers, infographics) that attracts and engages target audiences. Optimize content for search engines and social media.
  • Email Marketing: Manage email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, promote services, and communicate with existing clients. Develop email templates, segment audiences, and track campaign performance.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across all digital marketing channels. Generate regular reports to measure campaign effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Team Leadership & Management: Lead and mentor the digital marketing team, providing guidance, training, and support. Delegate tasks effectively and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Budget Management: Manage the digital marketing budget effectively, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately and campaigns are cost-effective.
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Stay up-to-date on the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate closely with other departments (e.g., sales, business development, process engineering) to ensure alignment between
  • marketing efforts and overall business objectives. Communicate effectively with stakeholders about digital marketing initiatives and results.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record of success. Experience in the consultancy or related industry is preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, email marketing).
  • Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media management platforms, CRM systems).
  • Excellent analytical and data-driven skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
