Position Title: Digital Finance Project Manager

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Finance Project Manager to lead and manage critical initiatives in agent onboarding, network expansion, and partnership development in support of our growing digital financial services. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in digital finance operations and a deep understanding of Ethiopia’s financial ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee agent onboarding and network management across regions to support digital finance operations
• Establish and manage partnerships with mobile money operators to expand service outreach
• Coordinate operational linkages with Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) and Savings and Credit Cooperatives (SACCOs) to facilitate seamless digital transactions
• Develop and implement strategies for agent recruitment, training, performance monitoring, and retention
• Manage partnerships and service-level agreements with key financial ecosystem stakeholders, including banks, fintech companies, and aggregators
• Design and implement tools for performance tracking, compliance, and risk management
• Ensure regulatory compliance across agent and partner operations
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, operations, and IT teams for system integration
• Support      the     expansion      of     digital     financial      services                 through customer-centric innovations
• Prepare and present regular reports on agent performance, partner engagement, and project milestones

Salary : Negotiable

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s  degree  in  Finance, Marketing, Management, Project Management, or related fields
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in agent network management and digital finance operations
• Proven expertise in working with mobile money operators, MFIs, and SACCOs
• In-depth understanding of Ethiopia’s digital finance ecosystem and regulatory frameworks
• Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills
• Demonstrated experience in agent training, performance tracking, and operational support
• Proactive      problem-solver     with   the   ability    to    thrive    in                  fast-paced environments
• Technologically adept with experience coordinating across digital tools and platforms
• Fluency in both Amharic and English; additional local language skills are a plus
