Job Purpose:- To make use of art, text, design publications, displays, exhibits, signs, and other forms of graphic support for marketing communication, and public relations program objectives

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Communicates and facilitates the art direction and formatting of design deliverables and produces necessary communications pieces in both print and digital environments for a wide range of customers. 
• Collaborates internally as well as with customers to conceptualize and execute creative solutions that can be translated across various media platforms. 
•  Manages production of all print pieces from conception to completion.
•  Works closely with the Marketing Expert to produce all publicity, including monthly electronic news, event flyers/posters, brochures, bookmarks, digital slides and other signage.
•  Takes photos and videos of library activity and events; edits and uploads to various platforms.
•   Coordinates with outside print vendors.
•  Adds content articles, images and slides onto websites and other online platforms. 
• Sets priorities, conceptualizes projects and manages multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. 
• Coordinates with co-workers across all departments to make sure work product meets branding and written style standards. Translates ideas into specific graphic presentation(s) including caricatures, portraits, illustrations, or other finished fine art techniques.
•  Designs publications, displays, exhibits, signs, paintings, and other materials used in graphic demonstrations and presentations.
• Coordinates all administrative aspects of production, including preparing final designs for presentation, checking and approving color, copy, text format separations, and scaling images for print production.
•   Prepares layouts, designs, artwork, and formats for use in publication and /or exhibition design.
•  Layouts and scales photos, marking them for proper screen values for print reproduction; 
•  Designs, lays out, and produces artwork such as graphs, maps, charts, posters, signs and report cover. 
• Organizes copy flow and maintains database/bibliographic/archival retrieval system of all references used in creation of published materials;
• Performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

• Level IV/III or BA in Graphic design or related fine arts field  from recognized university in Accounting and Finance from recognized University, or other related educational fields/discipline.

Experience: 

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)

Skills 

• Designing skills and knowledge.
• knowledge of media production and communication.
• knowledge of computer operating systems,
• knowledge of the fine arts.
