We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective procurement while maintaining compliance with company policies and national regulations.

Position Summary:

The Procurement Officer plays a critical role in ensuring the company acquires goods and services efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This role supports operational efficiency by developing effective procurement plans, optimizing vendor relationships, and ensuring the timely and compliant acquisition of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement plans aligned with operational needs
• Source suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods
• Monitor market trends and conduct cost analysis to optimize spending
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement documentation and records
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
• Collaborate with finance and other relevant internal teams for seamless operations

• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a closely related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of Ethiopian procurement laws 
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
