Job Summary

The Senior Holding Operations Coordinator I is a critical role responsible for optimizing and coordinating operational activities across the Holding Company's diverse portfolio of subsidiary businesses. This includes companies engaged in manufacturing (e.g., packaging products), merchandising, and automotive sectors. The Senior Coordinator will play a key role in streamlining business processes, identifying and resolving operational challenges, and facilitating seamless day-to-day operations to ensure the achievement of strategic company goals and enhance overall efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Optimization & Implementation: Proactively identify opportunities to improve operational procedures and processes across subsidiary companies, leading the implementation of approved enhancements to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Liaison & Alignment: Act as a central liaison between various departments and subsidiary operations, fostering clear communication and ensuring strategic and operational alignment across the diverse business units.
  • Issue Resolution & Roadblock Management: Swiftly identify, analyze, and resolve operational issues and roadblocks that may hinder productivity or project progression within the subsidiaries.
  • Project Management for Operational Improvements: Actively manage and oversee operational improvement projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and deliver tangible results across the diversified portfolio.
  • Data Analysis & Performance Tracking: Gather, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify areas for improvement, track performance against established benchmarks, and provide actionable insights.
  • KPI Development & Monitoring: Contribute to the development and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) specifically tailored to measure operational efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction across the varied subsidiary businesses.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Collaborate with key stakeholders across the Holding Company and its subsidiaries to champion and implement continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of operational excellence.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and submit comprehensive periodic reports on operational performance, challenges, and improvement initiatives to the Chief Holding Operational Services Officer.
  • Inter-subsidiary Coordination: Facilitate and coordinate operational activities between different subsidiary companies, ensuring synergies and best practice sharing across the group.
  • Ad-hoc Support: Perform other related duties as required to support the operational needs of the Holding Company and its subsidiaries.

Job Specification

Education & Experience:

  • Second Degree from a recognized university in a relevant Social Science, Natural Science, or Engineering field of study, with 6 years of related work experience (for Social/Natural Science) or 5 years of related work experience (for Engineering), of which 2 years must be in a supervisory or senior expertise position.

                          OR

  • First Degree from a recognized university/college in a relevant Social Science, Natural Science, or Engineering field of study, with 8 years of related work experience (for Social/Natural Science) or 7 years of related work experience (for Engineering), of which 3 years must be in a supervisory or senior expertise position.
