• Maintain accurate financial records using Peachtree accounting software.
• Calculate, file, and manage all types of tax declarations (e.g., VAT, withholding, income tax) in compliance with Ethiopian tax laws.
• Conduct cost accounting for factory production, including materials, labor, and overhead.
• Perform fixed asset management, including registration, depreciation, and amortization.
• Prepare and verify financial reimbursement documents and employee expense claims.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and relevant stakeholders as needed.
• Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts and internal control compliance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Proficient in Peachtree (Sage 50) accounting software is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax systems and reporting requirements.
• Experience with manufacturing cost accounting is highly preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• English proficiency is required.
