We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanic to join our workshop team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in the repair and maintenance of heavy construction machinery, with advanced knowledge of engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and electrical systems. 

Position Summary

The Senior Mechanic will be responsible for complex repairs, troubleshooting, and conducting inspections, as well as providing technical guidance and training to junior staff. This role requires a high degree of technical proficiency, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Key Responsibilities

• Carry out all types of repairs on construction machinery and other equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems in both the workshop and field.
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections and follow new machine delivery guidelines.
• Inspect failed parts to determine reusability and investigate the root cause of component failures.
• Prepare detailed written reports on component failures and completed tasks.
• Perform periodic maintenance and service tasks according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Assist the Lead Mechanic with work distribution and ensuring efficient task execution.
• Mentor and provide hands-on training to junior mechanics and apprentices.
• Ensure all workshop practices comply with company safety and quality standards.
• Complete daily job cards and reports accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure the proper use of all company tools and equipment.
• Be accountable for all spare parts, components, and consumables used for assigned tasks.
• Adhere to all company rules, regulations, and safety measures.
• Perform other related jobs as assigned by supervisors, in the workshop or field.

• Diploma in Auto Mechanics or a related field from a recognized technical school.
• Ten (10) years of work experience as a Mechanic, with a strong preference for experience on construction equipment. Prior experience working with Hyundai machinery is highly desirable.
• Advanced knowledge and skills in repairing engines, hydraulic systems, and transmissions, particularly on excavators.
• Good skills in English reading and writing.
• Computer knowledge and the ability to use diagnostic tools.
• Third Grade or equivalent driving license with practical driving experience
