Main Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Auto Business Import Services,Auto Business Import Service Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating and managing Supervise the overall auto import functions and activities of the company; handling and administering all auto business related import transactions, delivery of all cargo, processes custom clearances and monitors proper receiving of imported goods within the required timeframe.
Detailed Duties and Responsibilities
Plans, organizes, coordinates and manages the overall auto import functions and activities of the company;
Supervise, handles and manages the necessary documentation and online forms for the efficient, cost-effective and lawful execution of all the auto business import activities;
Communicates with concerned government authorities, customers and suppliers on import related matters in all relevant territories and countries, as necessary to ensure efficient, positive and lawful relations;
Plans and implements auto business import strategy and activities consistent with overall aims and strategic objectives of the company;
Prepares and submits relevant information and reports in a timely and accurate manner, such as shipping schedules, letters of credit, credit control mechanisms, licenses, declarations, packing, transport and safety documentation;
Strategizes, plans and enforces the company’s auto business import activities consistent with the company’s import strategies and requirements of the clients;
Partners and communicates with suppliers to ensure accurate movement of all imported auto business related goods and arrival of goods within required timeframe and with optimal freight rates at all times;
Investigates for opportunities to find lower cost carriers and faster shipping routes and implementing strategically effective and relevant transport methods, which meet optimally the needs of the company and its suppliers and customers;
Plans and implements all auto business import transportation strategies according to supplier and customer demand and administers internal movement of all auto business imported goods in compliance with relevant laws and government regulations;
Maintains, monitors, records, analyzes and disseminates information on the overall activities, trends, results and recommendations relating to the company’s auto business import operations;
Handles and administers all auto business related import transactions, delivery of all cargo, processes custom clearances and monitors proper receiving of imported goods within the required timeframe;
Follows up and controls the timely delivery of products and parts for which orders are placed by line departments and letter of credits are opened and periodically updating line departments on orders status;
Arranges for the entry and clearance of the goods directly by the transitor or through its agent and also arranges payment in accordance with the import tariff to customs at the port;
Presents the Bill of Lading, invoices, packaging specifications, and L/C attached to the declaration form to customs for the release of goods;
Arranges clearance of the goods from the bonded warehouses after paying the duty levied on them;
Prepares and submits the weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual performance report on the overall operational activity of the company’s auto business import operations;
Performs other similar duties and functions as required.
From recognized university/collage second degree in Management/Business Administration/ Economics/ Marketing Management/ Business Leadership/ Marketing and Sales Management/ International Trade/ Finance/ Accounting/ Accounting and Finance or other relevant field of study and 5 years related work experience, of which 2 years in a supervisory /senor expertise position (s) Or
From recognized university/collage first degree in Management/Business Administration/ Economics/ Marketing Management/ Business Leadership/ Marketing & Sales Management/ International Trade/ Finance/ Accounting/ Accounting and Finance or other relevant field of study and 7 years related work experience, of which 3 years in a supervisory /senor expertise position (s)
