Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop the company’s strategic plans and communicate them to all teams.
- Create alignment around the strategy, proactively identify interdependencies and synergies, and foster collaboration across the company Support the evaluation and prioritization of strategic initiatives and projects across the Company
- Facilitate the development of annual plans and budgets across the company
- Lead workshops with senior management and the Board to define business KPIs and develop appropriate systems and tools in the performance management system to support these KPIs.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of Nisir against its strategies, goals and annual corporate plan/targets segregated into different time bands (such as monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually) and generate reports to be presented for Board and management deliberation.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of working units against their own prior plan.
- Monitor and manage the execution of projects/initiatives to ensure successful delivery within time and budget.
- Monitor the ongoing enterprise performance against the strategic plan.
- Support and advise the business by delivering high-quality performance reporting and analysis.
- Lead the activities of formulating the brand strategy by defining the vision, mission, values, and personality of the brand, as well as its positioning, differentiation, and value proposition.
- Oversee the execution of the brand strategy across all channels and touchpoints, such as websites, social media, advertising, packaging, events, and customer service.
- Lead the analysis of customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand.
- Develop appropriate strategic recommendations related to target market selection, positioning and marketing mix strategy.
- Lead the performance assessment of new and existing products and initiate actions for improvement.
- Monitor the position of the company’s products, individually and collectively, in the marketplace, and provide appropriate recommendations for consideration by Nisir’s Executive Management.
- Lead the identification of unmet customer needs and marketplace insights and develop recommendations for developing new product/technology opportunities, and entering into new geographic markets and regions.
- Develop a comprehensive customer path and experience path and work out detailed service standard
- Support in translating the overall company strategy to specific marketing mix programs and in implementing and monitoring the effectiveness of the business strategy and marketing programs.
- Lead the determination of key marketing performance metrics and track the company’s marketing performance on these metrics (including sales, profitability of products by segments, clients, destinations, etc.).
- Lead the post-commercialization research to assess the market position of newly introduced products, and conduct post-campaign research to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and recommend required adjustments.
- Develop methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data, and support other work units in the design and execution of surveys and other research studies.
- Oversee translation of creative briefs into advertising campaigns, media placement and purchasing, packaging art, website content, and track effectiveness of campaigns and align campaigns with product and brand goals.
- Cultivate strategic relationships with existing and potential customers and business partners.
- Track marketing components of the business plan, analyse current results and marketplace data, evaluate the effectiveness of current and planned initiatives, and make spending trade-offs, and re-allocate resources.
- Lead the development and implementation of customer feedback instruments (i.e. surveys, etc.), insights from sales force, distribution centers, and operations and use findings to improve customer experience and enhance sales force effectiveness.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities across different areas of the business and be a champion of innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Qualification and Experience required
- Master’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Banking and Finance Economics or related fields with eight (8) years of demonstrated experience out of which four (4) years in a managerial position
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related fields with ten (10) years of demonstrated experience of which seven (5) years in a managerial position.
Purpose of the Job:
- To enhance the effectiveness of Nisir’s enterprise and marketing strategic performance for market and product development, positioning and delivering Nisir’s value propositions to targeted markets and brand eminence through strategic planning and monitoring decisions.
