The Senior Operation Planning and Performance Analyst will lead the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of organizational operational plans and performance frameworks. The role ensures alignment with corporate strategy, efficiency in execution, and accountability in results. The professional will play a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making, evaluating performance across departments, and recommending corrective actions for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Planning & evaluation
Develop, coordinate, and update annual and multi-year operational plans.
Ensure alignment of departmental and unit plans with corporate strategic objectives.
Lead resource planning, prioritization, and optimization of activities.
Design Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets at organizational, departmental, and unit levels.
Provide technical support to managers and teams in translating strategy into executable operational activities.
Performance Evaluation & Monitoring
Develop and maintain corporate-wide performance evaluation frameworks (e.g., BSC, OKRs, KPIs).
Lead the quarterly and annual performance review processes.
Conduct in-depth operational and financial performance analyses.
Produce high-quality performance reports and presentations for executives and board members.
Benchmark organizational performance against industry best practices.
Policy, Systems, and Process Improvement
Capacity Building & Advisory
Provide expert advice to leadership and department heads on performance and operational planning.
Mentor, coach, and train junior planners and evaluators.
Organize workshops and training on performance evaluation methodologies.
Serve as a technical advisor in cross-functional project teams.
Key Deliverables
Comprehensive annual and quarterly operational plans.
Periodic performance evaluation reports with actionable recommendations.
Established KPI frameworks and automated dashboards.
Evidence-based policy briefs and process improvement guidelines.
Strengthened institutional capacity in operational planning and evaluation.
Education
Degree in Management, Economics, Business Administration, Public Policy, Development Studies, industrial engineering or related field.
Additional certification in Performance Management (e.g., Balanced Scorecard, OKR, M&E systems) is an advantage.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 2 years in senior operational planning or performance evaluation roles. Experience working for a holding company is a plus
Proven track record in developing and managing corporate-level operational and performance systems.
Strong experience with data analysis, evaluation frameworks, and reporting.
Skills
Advanced knowledge of corporate strategy, operational planning, and performance evaluation tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation abilities.
High-level computer proficiency (MS Office, project management tools, data visualization software).
