Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is central to building and maintaining strong relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, and partners. The Account Manager will oversee client portfolios, drive engagement, and ensure the successful delivery of services before, during, and after the expo.

This is a fast-paced, client-facing role ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about the design and finishing industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, and strategic partners
  • Coordinate onboarding, contracts, and logistics for participating companies
  • Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term clients
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure client satisfaction
  • Represent FINTEX at industry events and networking functions
  • Maintain accurate records and reporting on client activity and performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, sales, or client relations
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and managing multiple priorities
  • Fluency in English required; French is an asset
  • Experience in trade shows, expos, or B2B environments is a plus

Work Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development
  • Prior experience in the interior design, furniture, construction materials, or events industry is highly preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing client portfolios
  • Experience working with designers, manufacturers, contractors, and technology providers
  • Demonstrated ability to translate client needs into actionable event or media solutions
