We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Agribusiness Account Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about agriculture and agribusiness, with a strong ability to build client relationships, drive sales, and support impactful industry events and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell exhibition space, sponsorship packages, and advertising solutions tailored to the agribusiness sector
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic outreach and industry networking
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in agriculture, AgriTech, food production, and related industries
- Understand client needs and recommend customized event and media solutions that align with sector trends
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client campaigns and event activations
- Stay informed on agricultural market developments, innovations, and policy changes to provide consultative value
- Prepare regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and performance metrics
- Meet and exceed revenue targets while maintaining high standards of client satisfaction
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Agronomy, or a related field
- Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development—preferably within the agribusiness or agricultural sector
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with commercial and technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with CRM systems, reporting tools, and digital platforms
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple accounts or campaigns simultaneously
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to client engagement and market growth
Work Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within agriculture, agribusiness, or food production sectors
- Track record of building and maintaining relationships with clients such as farming cooperatives, startups, agrochemical companies, or food processors
- Experience selling event space, sponsorships, or advertising solutions tailored to agricultural audiences
- Strong understanding of agricultural value chains, seasonal business cycles, and sector-specific challenges
- Ability to navigate both commercial and technical conversations with stakeholders across the agribusiness ecosystem
