Position Summary
The Senior HR Officer will be responsible for overseeing all human resources functions of the business lines under Spine Institute and Care S.C, ensuring compliance with labor laws, fostering a positive work environment, and supporting the overall strategic goals of the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
• Recruitment and Onboarding:
o Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, screening applications, conducting interviews, and coordinating offers for all positions.
o Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the company culture and understand their roles.
• Employee Relations:
o Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, providing timely and effective resolution.
o Promote a positive and inclusive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
o Conduct exit interviews and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Compensation and Benefits:
o Administer payroll processing in collaboration with the finance department, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
o Manage employee benefits programs (e.g., health insurance, paid time off, allowances).
o Conduct salary reviews and market research to ensure competitive compensation structures.
• Performance Management: -
o Implement and oversee performance appraisal systems, ensuring regular feedback and development opportunities for all staff.
o Provide guidance and support to managers on performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
• Training and Development:
o Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities for staff across the Company to enhance skills and knowledge.
o Develop and deliver HR-related training sessions (e.g., HR policies, compliance).
• HR Policy and Compliance:
o Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with Ethiopian labor laws and best practices.
o Ensure the company/Clinics compliance with all relevant labor regulations, health and safety standards, and professional licensing requirements for practitioners.
o Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
• HR Strategy and Reporting:
o Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with the Company’s business objectives.
o Prepare HR reports and analytics to inform decision-making.
• Education:- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a senior HR role. Experience in the healthcare sector is highly advantageous.
• Salary :- Net 20,000.00 (Tewenty tousnad birr)
• Skills:-
o In-depth knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws and HR best practices.
o Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
o Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
o Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
o Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
o Strong organizational and time management skills.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
