1. General Foreman Job Description:

A General Foreman oversees the workforce and ensures construction tasks are completed on schedule, within quality standards, and in line with safety requirements.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Supervise construction workers and assign daily tasks.
• Monitor labor productivity and work progress.
• Ensure workers follow safety regulations and proper work methods.
• Report daily progress and challenges to the site engineer/manager.
• Inspect completed work for quality assurance.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials efficiently.
• Support in training and guiding workers on technical tasks
• Coordinate manpower to meet deadlines.

Experience

• Minimum of Twelve (12) years’ experience and 8 years specific experience

Academic and Professional Qualifications

• Bsc or Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Construction Technology management

Required Skill

• Fluent in Oromia language
