Job Description

Trade Ethiopia Business Television is seeking a skilled and creative Camera Man & Video Editor to join our production team. The candidate will be responsible for capturing professional-quality video footage and editing it into engaging content for television, digital platforms, and promotional campaigns. This role requires both technical expertise in camera operations and creativity in video editing to tell compelling visual stories.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate professional cameras to capture high-quality video and photography for TV programs, interviews, events, and promotions.
• Edit raw footage into polished, broadcast-ready video content.
• Add graphics, transitions, subtitles, and sound effects to enhance storytelling.
• Collaborate with producers, directors, and content teams to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure all content aligns with broadcast standards and the company’s creative direction.
• Manage and maintain camera, lighting, and editing equipment.
• Stay updated with industry trends in filming and video editing techniques.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media, Communication, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Camera Operator and/or Video Editor.
• Strong knowledge of camera operation, lighting setups, and sound recording.
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
• Creativity, attention to detail, and strong visual storytelling skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and in fast-paced production environments.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
