Logiskills Transit Services, established in 2008, is a logistics company providing customs clearance, freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, and related logistics solutions in Ethiopia and Djibouti. As part of our growth and digital transformation, we are seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Officer to strengthen our client base and business development.
Position Summary
The Sales & Marketing Officer will be responsible for preparing quotations, bids, and proposals, building strong client relationships, and driving business growth through effective sales and marketing strategies. This role requires a motivated female professional with 3–5 years of proven experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in the logistics, import-export, or service industry.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Client Relationship
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding, customs clearance, transportation, and logistics services.
- Prepare and submit quotations, bids, and tender documents accurately and on time.
- Follow up on quotations, negotiate with clients, and close sales effectively.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with operations and finance teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to improve services.
Marketing & Promotion
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the company’s services
- Manage company presence on digital platforms (LinkedIn, Telegram, social media, company website).
- Prepare marketing materials (brochures, presentations, service profiles).
- Organize client visits, promotional events, and business meetings.
- Build brand awareness and support company visibility in the logistics sector.
Documentation & Reporting
- Draft and review proposals, agreements, and service contracts.
- Ensure compliance with tender/bid requirements and submission deadlines.
- Maintain a database of prospects, clients, quotations, and closed deals.
- Prepare regular sales and marketing performance reports for management.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
- 3–5 years proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in logistics, freight forwarding, or related services.
- Strong skills in bid preparation, tender submission, and quotation preparation.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with Odoo ERP/CRM is an advantage.
- Strong command of English and Amharic (spoken and written).
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and multitask effectively.
- Customer-oriented with problem-solving skills and professional appearance.
