Main Duties and Responsibilities 

Under the immediate supervision of the Auto Business Unit Manager, the Senior Planning and Monitoring Officer I, is responsible for consolidating plans, compiling and analyzing performance reports, comparing plans with achievements to identify deviations, if any, for corrective actions.

Detailed Duties and Responsibilities 

1. Carries out consolidation and preparation of short, medium and long term plans of the Business  Unit that are integrated with the corporate plan;

2. Evaluates plan versus accomplishment of different work units of the Business Unit, applies different models to solve problems affecting the performance of the company;

3. Designs methodologies and formats to collect and analyze information on plan and accomplishments of the different work units of the Business Unit;

4. Assists in developing directives for the preparation of action plan and the accompanying budget of the  Business Unit;

5. Organizes and compiles action plans and budgets prepared by different work units of the Business Unit;

6. Consolidates plans and budgets of different work units of the Business Unit in light of the strategic plan of the company and available resources;

7. Disseminates approved budgets with clear directives on how to utilize and execute;

8. Sets monitoring standards against planned activities and conducts variance analysis;

9. Reports the outcome of variance analysis for discussion and subsequent measure by the Business Unit’s Management;

10. Sorts out and analyzes performance of different work units for managerial decision;

11. Follows up and evaluates the efficiency and appropriateness of strategic plan for compliance with changing realities;

12. Proposes revision and up-dating of strategic plans and participates in the preparation as required;

13. Maintains close communications with Corporate Planning and Monitoring Service and seeks its guidance and professional support  as deemed necessary;

14. Maintains liaising role on planning and monitoring related activities between the Auto Business Unit and the Corporate Planning and Monitoring Service;

15. Compiles and prepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports on the overall performance of the Business Unit;

16. Performs other related duties of planning, monitoring & evaluation as required.

From recognized university/college second degree in Economics/ Statistics/ Management/ Business Management/ Business Administration or other related field of study and 2 years related work experience

Or

From recognized university/college first degree in Economics/ Statistics/ Management/ Business Management/ Business Administration or other related field of study and 4 years related work experience
