Strategic Leadership & Management
• Oversee the entire Food & Beverage (F&B) department, including restaurants, bars, banquets, room service, and catering operations.
• Develop and implement F&B strategies aligned with the hotel’s overall goals, brand standards, and guest satisfaction objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the F&B management team and staff to deliver outstanding service.
Operations & Service Excellence
• Ensure smooth daily operations across all F&B outlets, maintaining consistent service quality and guest experience.
• Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
• Enforce hygiene, health, and safety standards in line with local regulations and best international practices
Financial & Business Performance
• Prepare and manage the F&B department budget, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Control costs, optimize pricing strategies, and drive revenue growth through innovative promotions and upselling.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve profitability targets.
Menu Development & Quality Control
• Work closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team to design innovative, high-quality, and cost-effective menus.
• Ensure consistency in food and beverage presentation, taste, and portion control.
• Introduce seasonal offerings and themed events to attract and retain customers.
Staffing & Human Resources
• Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate F&B staff, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Implement staff grooming and service standards in line with brand requirements.
Supplier & Inventory Management
• Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Oversee procurement, inventory control, and stock management to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and sustainability initiatives.
Events & Banqueting
• Plan and oversee special events, conferences, weddings, and banquets to ensure seamless execution.
• Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing team to attract business and maximize event revenues.
Compliance & Brand Standards
• Ensure all F&B outlets operate in compliance with hotel brand standards, licensing laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and guest preferences.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in luxury hotel F & B and 5 years as a head of the department.
• Demonstrated success in financial management and revenue generation.
• Proven ability to inspire, lead, and develop large, multicultural teams.
Skills and Attributes
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English and preferably one or more additional languages.
• Meticulous attention to detail, organizational skills, and a passion for delivering bespoke guest experiences.
