Spa & Wellness Operations Management
• Oversee daily operations of the hotel’s spa, wellness, and fitness facilities, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
• Develop and maintain spa service standards, treatment protocols, and operating procedures in line with hotel brand requirements.
• Manage scheduling therapists, fitness instructors, and support staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and ambiance of spa treatment rooms, relaxation areas, pool, sauna, and gym facilities.
Guest Experience & Service Quality
• Deliver personalized wellness experiences, anticipating guest needs and exceeding expectations.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
• Develop wellness programs, packages, and promotions tailored to different guest segments.
Staff Leadership & Development
• Recruit, train, and supervise spa therapists, receptionists, fitness trainers, and attendants.
• Provide coaching, motivation, and performance reviews to ensure high service standards.
• Foster a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the spa team.
Financial & Business Management
• Develop and manage the spa & wellness budget, ensuring profitability and revenue growth.
• Monitor KPIs such as treatment room utilization, average spend per guest, and revenue per therapist.
• Implement sales strategies, upselling techniques, and membership/loyalty programs to boost revenue.
• Control operational expenses, inventory of products, and equipment maintenance.
Wellness Programs & Innovation
• Collaborate with suppliers to introduce innovative treatments, products, and wellness trends.
• Ensure spa menus are updated regularly and align with guest preferences and seasonal trends.
Health, Safety & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with local health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
• Train staff in occupational safety, proper equipment use, and first aid procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections of spa and fitness facilities to ensure safety and functionality.
Marketing & Guest Engagement
• Work closely with Sales & Marketing to promote spa and wellness services through campaigns, packages, and digital channels.
• Represent the spa in hotel promotions, events, and wellness retreats.
• Build partnerships with external wellness experts and suppliers.
Reporting & Administration
• Maintain records of spa revenues, guest feedback, inventory, and staff performance.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management on financial results and departmental performance.
• Participate in hotel management meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality, Spa & Wellness Management, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of spa/wellness experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of spa therapies, holistic wellness practices, and fitness operations.
• Business acumen with experience in budgeting, sales, and revenue management.
Skills and Attributes
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English and preferably one or more additional languages.
• Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to train and inspire a multicultural team.
• Familiarity with spa software systems, PMS, and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Passion for health, wellness, and guest-centered experiences.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as per hotel operations
