We’re hiring 10 exceptional teachers to join GlobeDock Academy as E-Learning English and History Teachers (Grades 7–12).

Job Type and Compensation
Type: Part-time
Location: On-site (Addis Ababa, Ethiopia)
Payment: Hourly
Rate: 2,000 ETB per hour
Responsibilities
- Deliver interactive and engaging online lessons tailored to students in grades 7–12.
- Use effective communication methods and digital educational tools to support student learning outcomes.
- Connect theoretical concepts to real-world applications, making learning meaningful and inspiring.
- Create an inclusive online learning environment that supports students from diverse backgrounds and abilities
An Ideal Candidate Should
- Have a passion for teaching and creating meaningful impact in education.
- Possess strong subject knowledge in either English or History for grades 7–12.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills (English and Amharic) – both verbal and written – with confidence in camera-facing delivery.
- Be able to teach effectively in both English and Amharic.
- Show adaptability to new tools, creativity in approach, and enthusiasm for online learning.
- Be self-driven, quick to learn, and committed to student success.
Qualification and Requirement
- Minimum bachelor's degree in English, History, Education, or related fields from a recognized university.
- Work Experience: 0 to 10 years (prior experience in e-learning or online teaching is a plus).
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Self-motivated, honest, highly responsible, and punctual.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
