Equipment:
Computer with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
Supervise and guide a team of accountants to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
Assign and review work to ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
Provide mentoring, training, and development opportunities to team members.
Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure that financial reports are accurate, consistent, and compliant with internal and external accounting standards.
Analyze financial performance and suggest improvements to meet business goals.
Payment Scheduling: Managing payment schedules, ensuring timely payments to vendors, and optimizing cash flow.
Collections: Overseeing the collection process, monitoring overdue accounts, and coordinating with the collections team to resolve outstanding payments.
General Ledger Management:
Ensure proper maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
Identify discrepancies and oversee resolution.
Internal Controls & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS), and regulatory requirements.
Perform or oversee periodic audits and assessments of accounting processes.
Implement and enforce improvements in accounting practices to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity.
Collaboration & Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional departments such as finance, operations, and IT to support business objectives.
Communicate financial data, trends, and insights to senior management.
Act as a point of contact for external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.
Continuous Process Improvement:
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and technologies.
Lead or participate in system upgrades or implementations relevant to accounting functions.
Perform other job-related duties as required by the company.

Preferred Disciplines
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Administration (preferred for senior positions).
