Purpose of the Role

The Sales Officer will handle Air & Ocean (including Ground) inside sales for both ad-hoc and RFQ requests. The role ensures timely, accurate quotations aligned with our cost structures and commercial terms, while supporting revenue growth and exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage incoming sales enquiries and RFQs; prepare competitive quotes in line with pricing guidelines and terms & conditions.
• Coordinate with operations, pricing, and product teams to confirm feasibility, transit times, and cost elements.
• Maintain an active pipeline: follow up on quotations, convert opportunities, and update status reports/CRM.
• Support bids/tenders with data, rate builds, and document preparation.
• Build strong relationships with customers through responsive service and proactive communication.
• Produce weekly/monthly sales and quotation performance reports with clear insights and recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: BA Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related business fields.
• Experience: 1–3 years in pricing and/or sales administration within a freight forwarding & logistics company.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong customer service orientation with excellent written & spoken English.
• Solid analytical, quoting, and reporting capability,
• Efficient user of quotation systems and MS Office tools.
• Proven negotiation and influencing skills; professional interpersonal communication.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through under time pressure.
