1. Job Summary:

Under the instruction and supervision of the immediate supervisor, Security Service Supervisor deploys, inducts, reshuffles, monitors and controls the security staffs under his supervision; patrols, supervises and controls the security staffs; identifies the needs of uniforms and supplies to security guards, under his supervision, fosters a peaceful industrial relation; schedules and administers the various leave entitlements; identifies skill gaps of security guards and takes corrective actions, conducts the performance appraisal of security service staffs, support the immediate supervisor in .other security personnel administrative matter.

2. Specific Duties and Responsibilities

2.1. Deploys, reshuffles, the security guards, monitors, supervises and controls their daily operational activities in different duty stations. 

2.2. Deploys and relocates security personnel to different duty stations, and ensures delivery of effective and efficient service in accordance with contractual agreements entered into with customer organizations. 

2.3. Patrols, supervises and controls the daily attendance and work activity of security service staff assigned under his/her supervision. 

2.4. Identifies needs of uniforms and supplies to security service workers under his/her supervision and ensures the on-time delivery of the same, 

2.5. Orients, equips and deploys newly recruited security personnel to different assigned duty stations 

2.6. Administers the performance management, disciplinary issues and other personnel matters of security personnel he/she is in charge.

 2.7. Schedules and administers the various leave entitlements of security guards in accordance with the company rules and regulations. 

2.8. keeps a personnel data record of the security service staff he/she is in charge and updates the same from time to time 

2.9. Identifies skill gaps of the security service staff under his/her supervision, and give on the job skill upgrading training, monitors and evaluates the impact of trainings administered. 

2.10. Handles the complaint and query of administrative matters of the security personnel under his/her supervision. 

2.11. Follows up and reports on collectable service charges of the security and other services that he/she is in charge of

2.12. Conducts performance appraisal of workers under his/her supervision in accordance with the appraisal scheme and the official time frame set to that effect; 

2.13. Prepares working schedules and annual leave programs for security personnel he/she is in charge; 

2.14. Ensures that customers are getting the required security service properly as per the contract agreement they made with the company 

2.15. Utilizes resource in areas of responsibilities as provided in annual work plan and budget within authorized limits; 

2.16. Identifies the training needs of security personnel and recommends appropriate trainings, and follows up its implementation.

 2.17. Receive from store and distribute uniforms, equipment, accessories and other logistic materials required for security service function. 

2.18. Performs other similar duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

  • Diploma in Military Science, Policing, or other related fields and Military/Police Officers training's is a must
  • 2 years of related experience

Employment Status: Contract

  • ·Work experience submitted by non-governmental organizations must have a proof of payment of employment tax.

  • Age shouldn’t Exceed 57 Years and Minimum Military/Police rank should be: Lieutenant (መቶ አለቃ) /Vice Inspector and above respectively
