Job Summary:

The Senior Poultry Veterinary Expert will be responsible for providing professional veterinary expertise in poultry health management, disease prevention, and productivity enhancement. The position requires hands-on experience in diagnosing, controlling, and preventing poultry diseases, as well as offering technical guidance and support to production teams.

ducation:

From a recognized university/college:
- Second Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Microbiology, or other relevant field of study
  OR
- First Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Microbiology, or other relevant field of study

Experience:

With a Second Degree: 3–4 years of experience in the field
With a First Degree: 5–6 years of experience in the field

Technical & Veterinary Skills

Poultry Health Management – Diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of common poultry diseases.
Vaccination & Immunization Programs – Designing and supervising effective vaccination schedules.
Biosecurity Measures – Implementing strict farm hygiene and disease control protocols.
Laboratory Skills – Basic microbiology, serology, and pathology relevant to poultry.
Medication & Treatment Knowledge – Expertise in antibiotics, antivirals, and nutritional supplements specific to poultry.
Disease Surveillance & Epidemiology – Monitoring, reporting, and managing outbreaks.
