HAB Business PLC is looking for a motivated and experienced Accountant to manage financial records and transactions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our financial statements and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain all general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations in a timely manner.
• Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring accurate invoicing and timely payments.
• Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting activities.
• Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits.
• File and remit relevant taxes (VAT, income tax, etc.) and ensure statutory compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 - 3 years of proven experience working as an Accountant or in a similar financial role.
• Knowledge:
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Peachtree) and MS Excel.
  • Thorough understanding of local tax laws and financial regulations.
• Skills: Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
