Position Description

Job title : Team Leader , Warehouse 

Position : Office of  warehouse and Transport  Department

Grade Level : 

Reports to : Office of  warehouse Manager

Supervises  : warehouse staff

Job summary 

Warehouse team leader is responsible to closely work with warehouse staffs with the aim of maintaining inventory, receiving stock, placing shipment orders, data entering the inventory management system as well as performing other backup tasks in other areas within the department.

Roles and Responsibilities 

1. Verify stocks, perform cycle counting and post all paperwork
2. Required to undertake cycle count and inventory handover must have excellent accuracy.
3. Receive, process, and perform inspections of materials, supplies, tools, fixtures, and parts.
4. Maintain accurate accounting of all material received and shipped.
5. Responsible for shipping, pulling orders, and completing required paperwork.
6. Responsible for the issuance of materials and supplies to all departments in the organization.
7. Responsible for stock control and housekeeping operations of warehouse stock and items.
8. In time and accurate entry into warehouse ERP/SAP system.
9. Ensure moving material within the warehouse and assist in other warehouse activities as directed.
10.  Coordinate warehouse staff and daily activities.
11. Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities.
12. Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees’ performance
13. Organize and maintain inventory and storage area.
14. Maintain items record, document necessary information, and utilize reports to project warehouse status.
15. Identify areas of improvement and establish innovatively or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
16. Maintain high-level integrity and discipline.
17. Undertake tasks assigned by the warehouse manager.

Position Requirement 

1. Academic requirement: MA/MSC/BSC /BA/ in  Supply Chain Management/ Logistics/ Transportation/Property Management or related fields
2. Work experience: 4/6 years of relevant experience
