Position: Camp Fleet and Trucks Supervisor Location: Addis Ababa Bole Atlas

A Camp Fleet and Trucks Supervisor oversees the operation, maintenance, and logistics of vehicles and equipment within a camp setting, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities Fleet Management

• Oversee daily operations of all camp vehicles including trucks, buses, and utility vehicles.
• Schedule and monitor preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure vehicles are registered, licensed, and compliant with local and federal regulations.

Supervision and Coordination

• Manage a team of drivers and mechanics, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Coordinate transportation logistics for camp supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Resolve operational issues and escalate complex problems when necessary.

Safety and Compliance

• Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular inspections.
• Maintain records of vehicle usage, maintenance, and incident reports.
• Ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and other regulatory bodies.

Inventory and Procurement

• Track fuel usage, spare parts, and maintenance supplies.
• Assist in budgeting and procurement of new vehicles or equipment.
• Coordinate the sale or disposal of surplus fleet assets.

Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare and submit regular reports on fleet performance and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain insurance documentation and handle claims in coordination with providers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in automotive or fleet management preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fleet supervision or logistics.
• Valid driver’s license and certifications relevant to vehicle operation and safety.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and vehicle diagnostics.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
