Finance Manager

LOCATION: Addis Ababa
CAREER LEVEL: Senior

EMPLOYMENTTYPE:Full time

SALARY (negotiable*)

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead overall financial planning, budgeting, and reporting of the organization.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, tax laws, and regulations.
• Oversee accounting, auditing, and internal control systems.
• Manage cash flow, assets, and financial risk.
• Provide strategic financial advice to management and the board.
• Supervise and develop the finance team.
• Liaise with banks, auditors, and external partners.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

Education & Experience

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance
• Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
• Experience working with banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Experience in a logistics and freight forwarding company is mandatory.

Skills

• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
• High proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
