Job Title: Site Finance and Administration Officer

Location: Assosa and Dima Field Offices 

 Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Management
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the site office.
    • Process payments, manage petty cash, and ensure proper documentation.
    • Prepare monthly financial reports and submit to the country office.
    • Support budget tracking and ensure compliance with donor and organizational policies.
  • Administrative Support
    • Oversee office operations, supplies, and logistics.
    • Maintain personnel files and support HR functions like leave tracking and timesheets.
    • Coordinate travel, accommodation, and meeting arrangements for staff and visitors.
    • Ensure proper filing and archiving of administrative documents.
  • Compliance and Audits
    • Ensure adherence to internal controls and procurement procedures.
    • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
  • Team Support
    • Supervise support staff (e.g., cleaners, guards, drivers).
    • Provide orientation and training on finance/admin procedures to new staff.

 Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in finance and administration, preferably in a humanitarian or development setting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SUN, or similar).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an asset.
  • Willingness to work in remote and challenging environments.

Qualifications and Experience
