Core responsibilities

• Vehicle management:
  • Purchase, lease, or retire company vehicles.
  • Manage vehicle registration, licensing, and insurance.
  • Oversee regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all vehicles are compliant with safety and legal requirements.
• Driver management:
  • Hire, train, and manage drivers.
  • Create and manage driver schedules and routes for maximum efficiency.
  • Monitor driver behavior, performance, and adherence to schedules and regulations.
  • Ensure drivers maintain all necessary licenses and certifications.
• Operational and financial oversight:
  • Track and analyze fleet performance data, including fuel consumption and expenses.
  • Develop and manage fleet budgets and forecasts.
  • Implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors for parts and services.
• Compliance and safety:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Establish and enforce company policies for the fleet.
  • Manage incident and accident reporting.
• Record-keeping:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all vehicles and drivers, including maintenance, inspection, and compliance records.

• Required Educational Attainment: MA/MBA/BA 
• Education: Business Administration/ Logistic/Supplies Management /Transport Management 
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years for Masters or 8 years for Degree relevant experience.
• Skill: Proficient Computer Microsoft Office 
• Sex: Female or Male
• Language Skill: Advantageous if the candidate has a good English skill in addition to Ethiopian Local Languages.
