The Federation of Ethiopian Associations of Persons with Disabilities (FEAPD) is an umbrella of 38 organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs) established as a common voice and public wing of persons with disabilities in Ethiopia. It is operating in all regions and 2 city administrations of the country in addressing the information gaps on disability related issues and enhancing institutional capacities of OPDs and other stakeholders in advancing the rights of people with disabilities.

FEAPD has been celebrating and organizing different events like International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) to increase awareness of persons with disability in particular and the society at large.  In this manner, FEAPD jointly with the government is planning to organize 2025 observance of the international day of persons with disabilities on Dec 2 & 3, 2024 at Tigray Region, Mekele City at Country level. 

Thus, FEAPD is looking for service providers for the following items that have distinct purpose in the celebration of the event.

LED screen supplier in rental basis for one day with operating technicians as per the following details.

• The LED screen shall be up to the standard for live transmission recordings and be defect free. (36 sq.kar.)

• The supplier will transport the screen to and from the venue of the event by own cost

• The provider will deploy operating technical team.

• Damage or loss burden is of at the supplier’s risk.

Radio Program production and broadcasting

• Radio program production and broadcasting in two languages (Amharic and Tigrigna)

• No. of programs ………………. two for each languages for 30 minutes

• Broadcasting Media…………... National medias that cover all parts of the country

• Broadcasting Period………….. One week before and after of IDPD.

• Content of the program…….About the social inclusion of Persons with Disabilities and policy change advocacy.

• Program format ……………. Interview with public figures and government officials is crucial.

How To Apply

• Interested supplier who has valid license is required to submit the technical and financial proposal to FEAPD.

• The bid documents should only be in hard copies, shall be submitted at the address below within 5 calendar days counting from the next day the bid is advertised and closed on 24 November 2025 at 5:00 p.m.

• Bids will be opened with or without the presence of the bidders or legal representatives assigned by the organization at FEAPD HQ, HR Office on November 25 / 2025 : 9:30 a.m.

• Late arrival of bids will be subjected to rejection.

• FEAPD has the right to accept or reject the bid fully or partially.

• Unless or otherwise external factors are arises, any technical difficulty is subjected to cancelation of the agreement.
