1. Sterilizing the operating room and all surgical tools

1. Ensuring that sanitization and safety protocols are being followed in the operating room

2. Reviewing patients' medical charts prior to surgery

3. Setting up surgical instruments and keeping them organized during the procedure

4. Passing surgical tools to the surgeon

5. Taking medical samples throughout the course of the procedure

6. Following the surgeon’s instructions and helping with technical procedures during surgery 

7. Monitoring the patient's vitals and identifying potential complications during the procedure

8. Administering medication and treatments as needed and responding to medical emergencies

Proficient in carrying out professional tasks; Good Communication and Interpersonal skills; Capacity to be compassionate and caring; Conscious of Government, FGAE and FGAE regulations; Ability to make logical and timely decisions; Counseling skill; Awareness of concepts and strategies of quality care; Pro-choice

BSc/Diploma in Midwifery/ Nursing
