Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior B2B Officer who will be the bridge between our services and our clients. The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-focused, and able to provide strategic support to help clients succeed across all TradeEthiopia platforms and services.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Lead Generation
- Identify and target potential corporate clients across relevant industries.
- Conduct market research to understand client needs, industry trends, and emerging opportunities.
- Generate new business leads through calls, company visits, networking, and online platforms.
- Schedule meetings, introduce company services/products, and deliver professional presentations.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and new B2B clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned accounts.
- Conduct regular follow-ups, check-ins, and client satisfaction surveys.
- Resolve client concerns promptly and professionally.
- Provide ongoing support and ensure smooth communication between clients and internal teams.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close deals within the sales cycle.
- Meet monthly and quarterly B2B sales targets.
- Promote company services and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Track and analyze sales performance; prepare weekly and monthly activity reports.
Partnership & Business Development
- Identify strategic partnership opportunities aligned with company goals.
- Develop proposals, collaboration frameworks, and partnership agreements.
- Coordinate partnership activities and ensure proper execution.
- Prepare and arrange meetings with partners, sponsors, and stakeholders.
Operational Coordination
- Work closely with marketing, finance, sales, IT, operations, and training departments to deliver client services.
- Ensure accurate documentation of meetings, proposals, agreements, and client interactions.
- Maintain updated client and lead records using CRM tools.
- Share market feedback for continuous service improvement and strategy development.
Customer Success & Platform Support
- Support clients across all TradeEthiopia services: Tesbinn Training Programs, Ethio-International Expo, Enisra Job Platform, and Export/Import facilitation.
- Provide onboarding, user education, and technical guidance on using company platforms.
- Monitor client satisfaction, resolve service-related issues, and ensure retention and engagement.
- Collect and analyze feedback for service enhancement.
Trade Facilitation & B2B Matchmaking
- Identify and connect qualified buyers, suppliers, and distributors across various industries to support domestic and international trade.
- Use social media, email, phone, telemarketing, and digital platforms to receive, verify, and manage buy/sell requests.
- Facilitate structured B2B matchmaking sessions by understanding business needs, evaluating compatibility, and arranging targeted introductions.
- Act as a liaison between businesses and potential partners, ensuring smooth communication, proper documentation, and follow-up for successful trade deals.
- Support companies by providing information on market access, pricing trends, regulatory requirements, and partnership opportunities.
- Prepare matchmaking reports, track outcomes, and maintain updated records of all trade facilitation activities.
Training & Event Support
- Provide training on B2B networking, trade facilitation, and sales strategies.
- Organize workshops, webinars, mentorship sessions, and promotional events.
- Assist during trade events, expos, job fairs, and webinars as a support contact.
- Ensure smooth facilitation of local, regional, and international trade/investment activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, International Trade, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in customer success, B2B support, sales coordination, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of B2B ecosystems, trade facilitation, or e-commerce platforms is a plus.
- Who work on international trade and knows about international trade.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Amharic.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, WhatsApp Business, email tools, and CRM platforms.
- Highly organized, solution-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
- Passion for trade, entrepreneurship, and client empowerment.
- Knowledge of additional languages (e.g., French, Arabic, and Chinese) is an advantage.
