Duties and responsibilities
- Gathering, examining, and interpreting qualitative data from a variety of sources
- Using various methods to analyze data, such as content analysis, narrative analysis, and discourse analysis
- Identifying patterns and trends in qualitative data
- Creating comprehensive reports and visual presentations to convey the results of the analysis
- Conducting quality assurance and data cleaning to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data
- Managing and organizing large amounts of data
- Using data management software and tools
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest methods and tools for qualitative data analysis
- Advising and assisting in the design of research studies and data collection instruments
- Excellent data organization, programming, communication skills, and working
- Able to conceptualize and manage nationally representative multisite complex Evaluation studies.
- Maintain and monitor the data collection process and adjust the system to operational activities’ needs with continued support.
- Oversee daily site activities and sure that the study is conducted according to the protocol guidelines
- Prepare weekly reports and update the project progress to the central office at EPHI.
Required skills
- Prior experience in coordinating a study using Evaluation studies of public health intervention.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret large and complex data sets from various sources, identifying patterns, trends, and insights.
- Excellent communication skills to present data findings in a clear and comprehensible manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Attention to detail ensures data processing, analysis, and reporting accuracy.
- Sound problem-solving abilities to identify issues in data sets and devise appropriate solutions.
- Critical thinking skills to develop and implement effective strategies for data collection and analysis.
- Project management abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and maintain high productivity.
- Experience or understanding of qualitative methodologies and data collection techniques, including interviews, focus groups, and observation.
- Demonstrated experience in providing training on the quantitative research method
Demonstrated experience in conducting in-depth interviews and focused group discussion
- MPH/MSc/PhD in the fields of Public Health or related field, with 6+ for PHD and 8+ years for Masters with demonstrated experience in designing and executing qualitative and quantitative studies and analyzing qualitative data, technical report and manuscript writing, or PhD in the fields of Public Health and 4 years of demonstrated experience in research.
