Job Title:   Senior Accountant

General

DINA Animal Feed is a pioneer Animal Processing Company aiming to enhance its position as a leader in the food and feed processing industry in Ethiopia. Established in 2019, DINA Food Processing has rapidly expanded its operations, focusing on high-quality flour products and animal feed.

Key responsibilities

• manages financial records, 

• ensures compliance (GAAP/tax), 

• prepares accurate statements, 

• leads month-end close,

• Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, 

• Analyze financial information and summarize financial status, 

•  Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance reports; ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP. 

• Support and lead closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, sub-ledger), and ledger maintenance. preparing journal entries, 

• Assist with tax filings, direct internal/external audits, and ensure adherence to accounting policies and regulations. 

•  Develop, document, and review accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency. 

• Plan, assign, and review work of junior accounting staff; provide technical support and guidance

• Carry out similar activities as assigned by the authorized personnel

Required Educational Attainment: MA/MBA/BA 

Education: Finance/Accounting/Business Administration or related fields. 

Experience: Minimum of 4 years for Masters or 6 years for Degree relevant experience.

Duty Station: Addis Ababa.

Salary: Company’s Scale

Skill: Proficient Computer Microsoft Office and other Financial Soft wares

Sex: Female or Male

Language Skill: It is advantageous if the candidate has proficiency of English Language apart from Ethiopian Local Languages.
