Job Description
This Company is seeking a Planning & Follow-Up Engineer to develop, maintain, and control project schedules, procurement plans, and performance-monitoring tools across multiple construction sites. The role acts as a central coordination hub between engineering, procurement, commercial, QA/QC, logistics, and site execution teams, ensuring timely reporting, early-warning alerts, contract package preparation, and accurate forecasting to support strategic project decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, including WBS, resource loading, and productivity norms.

• Prepare resource histograms, manpower forecasts, procurement schedules, and cash-flow curves aligned with contract requirements.

• Monitor procurement of long-lead items, subcontract packages, and vendor deliverables, ensuring zero delays.

• Assist in preparing contract packages, BOQs, milestone schedules, and payment terms.

• Provide planning input for claims, EOT justifications, and delay analyses.

• Prepare weekly/monthly project status reports, KPIs, and dashboards using Power BI and Primavera.

• Conduct risk assessments, identify potential delays or bottlenecks, and recommend mitigation strategies.

• Coordinate between engineering, procurement, logistics, and site construction teams to ensure smooth workflow.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.

• Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 6 years in planning, project controls, procurement follow-up, and reporting in engineering or construction companies.

• Expert proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory).

• Strong command of Power BI, MS Project, advanced MS Excel, and modern digital project control tools (e.g., Con_digital).

• Knowledge of procurement cycles, contract administration, and claims processes.

• Ability to interpret construction drawings, technical submittals, and engineering specifications.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong communication, reporting, and analytical skills.

• Integrity, accountability, and proactive mindset.
