Job Description
This company is seeking a Senior Development Manager (SDM) to lead all real estate and infrastructure development projects on behalf of the shareholders. This executive role oversees the full project lifecycle, including land acquisition, feasibility, master planning, design management, permitting, procurement, construction supervision, sales strategy, and stakeholder engagement.

The SDM ensures projects meet financial, technical, and operational goals while providing strategic oversight of Moabe Construction’s operational efficiency. The role includes authority to appoint key leadership positions in consultation with the CEO.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development strategy from inception to project handover.

• Conduct due diligence, market research, and feasibility studies.

• Secure land acquisition, approvals, and permits.

• Manage design teams and external consultants ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and adherence to international standards.

• Oversee procurement, contract administration, and construction management.

• Ensure Moabe Construction operates at world-class efficiency.

• Collaborate with finance, sales, marketing, and external stakeholders.

• Represent the company with government authorities, investors, and communities.

• Provide governance, reporting, and shareholder management.

• Lead, develop, and inspire multi-disciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Real Estate Development (Master’s preferred).

• 15–25+ years of experience in real estate, infrastructure, and construction leadership.

• Proven track record managing mixed-use, residential, commercial, or leisure/recreational projects from land acquisition to handover.

• Strong knowledge of design management, construction execution, procurement, finance, contracts, and sales.

• Experience with international consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.

• Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
