Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced liaison officer to facilitate effective communication between the company and various external stakeholders, including government agencies, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. The role requires strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, as well as a thorough understanding of regulatory processes in Ethiopia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the company and external stakeholders, including government offices, regulatory agencies, and business partners.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements by coordinating necessary approvals, permits, and licenses.
  • Assist in resolving operational challenges by liaising with relevant authorities.
  • Facilitate communication between different departments within the company and external organizations.
  • Maintain accurate records of official documents, permits, and correspondences.
  • Represent the company in meetings, discussions, and negotiations with external parties.
  • Stay updated on changes in regulations and industry requirements that may impact business operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public relations, law, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a liaison, public relations, or administrative role, preferably in a business or regulatory setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian business regulations and government procedures.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
