About Daye Bensa Business 

Daye Bensa is a leading Ethiopian group company with diversified businesses in coffee export, foam manufacturing, logistics, and import. Building on our strong foundation and new group infrastructure, we are now seeking an excellent Head of Marketing & Communications to lead our shared services marketing, branding, and communications at the holding level.
This strategic role will ensure that all Daye Bensa companies are aligned under a unified brand identity while supporting business units with tailored marketing and communications strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Group Brand & Strategy

• Develop and execute the overall brand, marketing, and communications strategy for the holding company.
• Ensure brand consistency across all subsidiaries and business units.
• Create and enforce marketing and communications guidelines, policies, and playbooks.

2. Marketing & Campaigns

• Design and oversee integrated marketing campaigns for the Group.
• Lead content creation, digital presence, advertising, and event marketing.
• Support business units with their own marketing needs while ensuring alignment with the group’s identity.

3. Public Relations & Communications

• Manage media relations, press releases, and crisis communications.
• Build and maintain relationships with media, PR agencies, and key stakeholders.
• Oversee internal communications to strengthen alignment across the Group.

4. Leadership & Operations

• Lead a small team at the group level while coordinating with marketing staff within each business unit.
• Manage budgets, vendors, and agencies to deliver impactful marketing outcomes.
• Provide regular reporting to the Group CEO and Board on marketing performance and brand positioning..

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7–10 years of proven experience in marketing, communications, or PR, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in developing and implementing brand and marketing strategies across multiple businesses or sectors.
• Strong background in media relations, corporate communications, and stakeholder engagement.
• Hands-on experience managing campaigns, events, and digital marketing.
• Prior experience in PR agencies, marketing consultancies, or multinational companies is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Amharic fluency required.
