Senior Accountant – Cost, Budget & Inventory

About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Accountant with strong expertise in costing, budgeting, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will provide financial insights, ensure accurate cost analysis, and support the company’s operational and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze cost reports, cost variance analysis, and product costing
Develop, monitor, and control annual budgets and forecasts
Oversee inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, and valuation
Conduct periodic stock audits and coordinate with warehouse teams
Track expenditure and compare it with approved budgets
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Assist with internal and external audits
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
Support management with financial planning and cost optimization strategies

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in cost & inventory accounting
Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and inventory systems
Proficiency in accounting software (ERP systems)
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modelling)
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
High level of integrity and attention to detail
