Job Title:        Junior Security Service Officer

Reports to:      Security   Service operation division manager

Location:         Head Office, Addis Ababa

1. Job Summary:

   Under the supervision of the Security Service operation division manager, the Security Service Officer, communicates with branch offices and follows up timely deployment of security guards as per the agreement signed with clients; collects reports on security guards from branch offices; compiles reports and avails to the immediate supervisor; prepares and sends periodic reports to regulatory governmental offices; summarizes request of logistical supply, makes requests for the security services and follows up timely issuance; prepares and submits performance report.

2. Specific Duties and Responsibilities

   1. Participates in the Plan preparation for timely supply of security guards to customer organizations as specified in the respective contractual agreements; 

   2. Carries out assessment on supply of Security guards and communicates inputs to immediate supervisor;

   3. Participate in the preparation of  patrol programs of security supervisors for patrol operation in Addis Ababa;

   4. In consultation with branch offices, collects and summarizes logistical supply needed for security officers, communicates the same to concerned work units and follows up dispatch of materials to requesting branches;

   5. Collects reports on security guards from branch offices and compiles the same. Summarizes information and avails the same to immediate supervisor and authorized personnel;

   6. Prepares periodic reports on available work force, and necessary information of security guards. Reports the same to the immediate supervisor and governmental regulatory offices in accordance with the established reporting time as needed;

   7. Register, follow up and update the leave record of security personnel’s 

   8. Carries out studies and submits reports  to maintaining harmonious industrial relation among security staff, the company and the client; 

   9. Ensures all activities function within the objective to meet and exceed customer needs and expectations;

   10. Utilizes resource in areas of responsibilities as provided in annual work plan and budget within authorized limits;

   11. Assist in Identifying the  training needs of  security personnel  and follows up the implementation  of appropriate trainings and human resource development programs

   12. Prepares and submits periodic performance reports to immediate supervisor.

   13. Performs other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor

B.A Degree in policing, Economics or Management or Accounting or Military Science or other related fields
