Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Resolve account payable and receivable issues or queries.
• Accurately perform daily reconciliations of cash, cheque and credit card transactions, and tally and file invoices.
• Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements.
• Prepare income tax returns and corporate reporting requirements.
• Ensure compliance with organizational guidelines and procedures, and federal and state regulations.
• Prepare journal entries, and complete general ledger operations
• Monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements
• Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts, draw up monthly financial reports
• Prepare analysis of accounts as requested, and assist with year-end closings
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for ongoing projects.
• Ensure 100% compliance with tax regulations, VAT returns, and financial policies.
• Oversee project cost control, payment collection, and financial reporting.
• Conduct quarterly financial reviews and ensure cash flow remains positive.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure adherence to project budgets.
• Implement cost reduction strategies to achieve financial efficiency goals.

Education:

•  BA degree in Accounting, Economics or related field of study

Experience: 

• 2 years and above relevant experience
