Role Overview

The Accounting & Finance Lead is a senior role responsible for managing Fayda Tech Solutions PLC’s full finance and accounting operations. The position oversees accounting, taxation, payroll, financial reporting, and compliance, while advising management and supporting ERP implementations. This role requires strong ownership, independence, and strategic financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities 

• Oversee and manage full-cycle accounting, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations 
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage invoicing, collections, vendor payments, and overall cash flow activities 
• Handle end-to-end payroll processing, including statutory deductions and employee payments
• Manage all tax-related obligations, including VAT, withholding tax, payroll tax, and income tax 
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements Lead audit preparation and coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies 
• Act as a finance and accounting advisor during ERP implementations, including chart of accounts setup, tax configuration, workflow validation, and UAT support 
• Advise management on financial controls, cash flow planning, and compliance risks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance
• Proven ability to independently manage end-to-end company accounting
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws, payroll processes, and compliance requirements
• Experience working with ERP systems, Odoo or similar platforms preferred
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work with minimal supervision
