Field Service Engineer (Medical Equipment)

We are currently seeking three (3) motivated Field Service Engineers to deliver world-class technical support across Ethiopia.

Vacancy Overview

• Position: Field Service Engineer 
• Locations: Dire Dawa, Gondar, and Nekemte (One position per location) 
• Reports To: Service Manager 
• Salary: Negotiable 
• Employment Type: Full-time 

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be the face of our technical excellence. You will manage on-site and remote support, ensuring that our medical equipment is installed, maintained, and repaired according to the highest global standards and strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation & Technical Support: Execute precision installations and qualifications of medical equipment following product-specific guides.
• Case Management: Manage assigned work orders promptly, coordinating parts and equipment to resolve technical issues within stipulated deadlines.
• Customer Excellence: Conduct follow-up visits and courtesy calls to ensure total customer satisfaction and perform preventative maintenance.
• Escalation & Collaboration: Follow formal processes to escalate complex cases, providing transparent feedback to customers and management until a resolution is reached.
• Reporting: Maintain rigorous records of all service activities and submit weekly/monthly performance updates to the Service Manager.
• Compliance: Adhere to Total Quality Management (TQM) systems and strictly follow all health, safety, and regulatory company policies.

Candidate Profile

• We are looking for analytical problem-solvers with a passion for high-standard customer service.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A target-driven mindset with the ability to work independently in the field.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential technical issues.
