We invite qualified applicants for the position of  CCTV Operator at one of our clients. 

Purpose of the role

A CCTV Control Room Operator: monitors security camera feeds, detects suspicious activity or emergencies, and responds by alerting relevant personnel (security, police) while documenting everything meticulously, ensuring systems run smoothly, and maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with procedures, acting as the crucial eyes and ears for site safety. 

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor Surveillance Systems: Watch live video from multiple cameras, panning, tilting, and zooming as needed.
• Identify and Report Incidents: Spot suspicious behavior, security breaches, or emergencies (theft, accidents, unauthorized access) and report them immediately.
• Respond To Alarms: React to various alarms (motion, door sensors, fire) and dispatch help.
• Document & Log: Maintain detailed, accurate logs of all events, actions, and system status.
• Manage Footage : Record, store, and retrieve video evidence for investigations, ensuring chain of custody. Manage Footage
• Liaise & Communicate: Communicate with ground security, emergency services, management, and other agencies via radio or phone.
• System Maintenance: Perform daily checks, report equipment faults, and ensure systems are operational.
• Control Access: Manage visitor/contractor access to the control room and sometimes the site. 

Basic Salary: 9900

Transport Allowance: 2000

• Calm under pressure and able to react quickly.
• Strong computer literacy and communication skills.
• Discreet and professional (maintaining confidentiality).
• Team player but also able to work independently. 

Minimum Qualifications & Experience 

• Experience in security system or similar roles .
• Diploma or Level 4 in Computer science, Information Technology  and related fields and Above.
• Good Communication skill in Writing and Speaking English.

Additional Requirement

• Residence of applicants should be around Kaliti and near to that area.
