Dodai Manufacturing Plc (Dodai), is a recently incorporated organization launched in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on August 01, 2023. Dodai is a fast growing organization with a mission of making e-mobility accessible to everyone in Africa through its innovative products and services. Dodai plans to provide brand new electric two-wheelers by assembling them here in Addis Ababa and plans to expand to major regional cities in Ethiopia by the end of 2025. Purpose of the Position:

The Junior Multimedia Designer at Dodai supports the marketing team by creating engaging visual and multimedia content that strengthens the Dodai brand and boosts lead generation. This role contributes to the production of high-quality graphics, videos, animations, and digital assets that enhance brand visibility and support marketing campaigns. The Junior Multimedia Designer also collaborates with other departments to ensure consistent and impactful communication across all platforms, helping the company achieve its overall mission.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing marketing materials, including posters, banners, social media posts, and  promotional assets.
• Create and edit short-form videos, animations, and motion graphics for campaigns.
• Support photo and video shoots, including setup, lighting assistance, and basic editing.
• Help maintain brand consistency across all creative outputs.
• Prepare production-ready files for print and digital use.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and campaign visuals.
• Update and adapt existing designs based on feedback.
• Organize and manage multimedia files, assets, and project folders.
• Research current design trends and bring new ideas to the team.
• Design digital and print graphics including posters, banners, flyers, social media posts, and promotional materials.
• Create visually appealing layouts, illustrations, and marketing graphics that align with the Dodai brand.
• Assist in designing UI elements or simple product mockups when needed
• Carry out any additional tasks or responsibilities as instructed by your supervisor or manager to support smooth operations.

• 6 months experience  in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Communication Design, or a related field.
• BA Degree in Computer Science, Architecture or related field.
• Basic skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects).
• Experience using Canva for quick design tasks and template-based content creation.
• Familiarity with AI-powered design tools 
• Understanding of typography, layout, and visual composition.
• Basic knowledge of video production and editing.
• Ability to take feedback and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• English proficiency is a plus
• A portfolio showcasing design or multimedia work (student projects acceptable).
• Familiarity with motion graphics and simple animations.
• Knowledge of photography or videography.
• Experience creating content for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube).
